A trailer has been out and available for viewing on Scratch, and the first episode was released in mid-September, a week after it's expected release on Labor Day 2011.

Due to Scratch 2.0, the inactivity of a1130, and the recent acquisition of a1130TV from MiaFan2010 Studios, in the summer of 2017, it was renamed to (and completed with six episodes in total as) "StarFlyers Adventures Season 3" with Katie Cadet from the StarFlyers and Brittany (the Protagonist Girl from LEGO Friends 1999) replacing Microsoft Sam and Radar Overseer Scotty respectively, which are both voiced by IVONA Salli (Fromtexttospeech Daisy as Katie Cadet) and IVONA Kimberly (Fromtexttospeech Alice as Brittany).

Episodes[]

Episode 1[]

Airdate: September 25, 2011

The show takes place in 2020, more than a decade after The Speakonian War. Radar Overseer Scotty and Linux Anna seperated, and Scotty formed alliances with Microsoft Sam and the other Microsoft voices. The trailer starts off with Scotty and Sam in the broadcasting tower (their house) arguing about what the food on their table is. Sam thinks it's cheese puffs, while Scotty thinks it's a pile of "stir-fried baloney and vegetables." Scotty accidentally knocks the bowl over and Sam warns him that a certain ROFL-9000 supercomputer was sleeping in that bowl. Scotty becomes horrified when the ROFL-9000 actually appears, telling him to "prepare for suffering."

Scotty becomes enraged and says the the ROFL-9000 will "get H1N1 if you [she] does so." The ROFL-9000 says that it is on Linux Anna's side, and Scotty adds a word about Linux Anna not letting him eating delicious bologna pie. The ROFL-9000 vanishes, saying that Linux Anna's plane has came.

Scotty becomes extremely frustrated, and he and Sam go on the ROFLcopter to follow Linux Anna's jet. They receieve transmission from the Radar Station in Speakonia City- which is a message encoded in Base-64.

[spoiler]

The message says something like: "Hello Sam. This is Mr. Information Robot and I have to tell you a code which you need to remember about. The code is..."

{end spoiler}

The message is intercepted by the ROFL-9000, who developed a virus that intercepts all messages sent from the Radar Station. The ROFL-9000 notifies Scotty via radio saying that in 5 minutes their ROFLcopter will plummet to the ground and release harmful gibberish toxins.

5 minutes later...

The episode ends with Sam having a painful gibberish attack and an "EAS alert." This episode was also the first time the EAS alert used the usual tone, which is a combination of the sine waves 853 hz. and 960 hz. (Before, a1130 just used white noise for EAS or "no signal" alerts.) In the remake, this was replaced with a "To be continued" title card with background music found on most other television 2-part episodes at the time of production with an end credits sequence attached to it with the background in black and the text in the Arial font and in the colour green.

Episode 2[]

Spoiler warning!
This article contains plot details about an upcoming episode.

Airdate: November 23, 2011

Radar Overseer Scotty and Microsoft Sam wake up in Linux Anna's labaratory, and Radar Overseer Scotty shows Sam the various chemicals Linux Anna uses to develop the many threats that have circulated Speakonia City. Sam takes a few ("just in case") and they escape in Linux Anna's ROFL-mobile. Scotty drives Sam to a top-secret route that can help them get back to Speakonia City, hoping they can make it in time before the ROFL-9000 causes any more trouble to them.

Meanwhile at Linux Anna's headquarters, Linux Anna finds out Sam and Scotty are gone, and the ROFL-van is stolen. The ROFL-9000 tracks down the ROFL-van's coordinates, and a chemical (the Drawbridge Trojan) is released that seperates a bridge in the route.

Sam and Scotty do not notice this and keep driving when they realize they are floating in midair. Their car plummets to the ground.

Episode 3 (StarFlyers Adventures Era)[]

Airdate: May ??, 2017

After one unsuccessful attempt at going to the radar station, a couple of days have passed. Katie Cadet was watching a Sci-Fi television show featuring a robot servant, and always dream she could have one.

In the morning, Katie Cadet enters Maxwell's lab, and asks if he can build a robot servant just for her. This leads to a sub plot where Maxwell secretly programs the robot servant as an evil trap.

Later in the evening, Katie Cadet returns to the lab for the progress on the robot, and Maxwell calls it the ROBOTRON 3000. Katie Cadet brings the robot home, and Maxwell's plan was a success.

Episode 4 (StarFlyers Adventures Era)[]

Airdate: May ??, 2017

Katie Cadet tells her robot servant to make her a ham and cheese sandwich, but the robot never listens. All of a sudden, Katie Cadet gasps, and the robot tells her that it was built to destroy her, not help her. That leads to a chase between the robot and Katie Cadet.

Katie Cadet enters Brittany's house in a panicked mood, and with the robot secretly entering the house, Katie Cadet and Brittany screamed in horror and ran through the back door and leads to another chase. Later on, multiple robots appeared, and Katie Cadet is already prepared for doom, by using her hand droid to destroy the robots in her sight.

The two girls later enter an old shed, where the thinking begins. In a deleted scene, Artemis and Luna from the Sailor Moon series are talking about the Drawbridge virus from Episode 2 of the show and how it got secretly cured.

Episode 5 (StarFlyers Adventures Era)[]

Airdate: June ??, 2017

Katie Cadet brings out her shovel and a slight dig in the grass results in a small earthquake. All of a sudden, the light goes black for a moment, and then Katie Cadet and Brittany are then sent to an elevator, where the two talk about Maxwell's secret underground lair. They were right! After leaving the elevator, they peeked at a room full of robots, and then Katie Cadet asks Brittany to grab some lab coats and goggles so that they are in an identity crisis.

One of the robots enters in the hallway of the lair alerting Katie Cadet an Brittany, and they both ran into Maxwell's secret control room, where they are locked into the control room's jail cell, and Maxwell declares to take over the world with a giant robot!

Episode 6 (StarFlyers Adventures Era - Series Finale)[]

Airdate: June ??, 2017

Katie Cadet and Brittany secretly found out a way to escape the jail cell of Maxwell's giant robot, and ended up in a big city. The two girls were lost and there was no way to get back to the StarFlyers Home Base (the place is referenced from the StarFlyers Royal Jewel Rescue game). Artemis and Luna sneaked up to Katie Cadet and Brittany, and that resulted in a happy ending.

The Narrator explains the epilogue of the story, and reminds the viewer that "you will not get into trouble with those bad guys! After all, this is fictional! So, Our story ends here!". The music playing in the background of the narration is Michael Jackson's "Love Never Felt So Good", released in 2014 on the posthumous X Scape album, originally recorded and written by Paul Anka and Michael Jackson in 1983.

This episode uses special ending credits featuring a still of Brittany (Protagonist Girl from LEGO Friends 1999) in the lower left corner, and the credits are positioned at the top right, but in a different font. This is also the first episode to use the new MiaFan2010 Studios logo (dubbed as KatieCadet2012 Studios) which appeared in MiaFan2010's projects from March 2017 to Early 2019.

Reason for delay[]

The expected release date on Labor Day 2011 was right when Hurricane Irene was around. (The show was originally intended to be a Speakonia Special, but ended up to be a whole different series in a different universe.) The East Coast suffered severe damage, including Boston, where Scratch's MIT server is located. Scratch was actually back up on September 6-7, one or two days after Labor Day, however, a1130 had still not finished it, thus causing it's delay of about a week.

After Episode 2 of the original version of Microsoft Sam and the ROFL-9000, it is unclear if a1130 would make a come back for another episode. As a result, in 2013, MiaFan2010 Studios (a competitor of a1130), acquired the a1130TV brand to make a complete version of the show with StarFlyers and LEGO Friends 1999 characters from The Learning Company, which resulted in six episodes of the third season of StarFlyers Adventures, released in 2017.

Reception and Plans for Season 4 of StarFlyers Adventures[]

For the StarFlyers Adventures remake of Microsoft Sam and the ROFL-9000, many guest viewers thought that the show had similarities to Paramount's Mission Impossible movie series, Dimension Films' Spy Kids movie series, and Nickelodeon's Jimmy Neutron. Although it is now part of the StarFlyers Adventures TV series, it did fairly better than the original 2011 version from a1130 and the past two seasons of StarFlyers Adventures from James Sharp of Sharpness Knight Studios.

There were rumours of a StarFlyers Adventures Season 4 featuring Sci-Twi from My Little Pony Equestria Girls, but most of the older production team at MiaFan2010 Studios were experiencing some development delays, and that later resulted in a closure of the studio in October 2018.
